Distribution takes advantage to a central location in the United States and the proximity to both I-35 and I-45. Three of the nation's 10 largest cities - Houston, San Antonio and Dallas - are no more than three hours away. Easterwood Airport, 5 minutes from Texas A&M University, is a valuable asset for business travelers and businesses. These airlines offer a total of 12 direct flights to Dallas and Houston, with connections to other domestic and international destinations.
The Research Valley is located within 100 miles of both Houston and Austin, and less than 200 miles from Dallas and San Antonio. Our convenient regional airport allows residents to be within one hop of every major national and international destination.

Railroads
The Research Valley is served by two railroads with daily routes. Several business sites with direct access are available.
Airports
The Research Valley is home to Easterwood Airport (CLL) located in College Station. Easterwood provides daily service to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and George Bush Intercontinental in Houston, TX via American Airline and Continental. The airport is equipped with two 5,150 foot runways, one 7,000 foot paved, all-weather runway, an approach lighting system, and FAA control tower, FAA radio communication, and an OmniRange-ILS Navigation Aid.
- Easterwood Airport provides daily non-stop flights to Houston and Dallas where passengers can connect to national and international destinations.
- Coulter Field serves private aircraft owners with a 4,000 foot runway, hanger space, and charter flight services.
In addition, the Research Valley neighbors Houston, TX, which is home to both the nearest port and international airport. We are conveniently located less than 100 miles from Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston, which offers daily international air services. |
